Great maps!!

Lots of fun

Still addicted to Lux

After years of playing different games, I always go back to Lux for a fast strategic bit of fun.

My go to game

I am addicted to this game.

Quite good

Lots of maps

Been playing for years and still love it

This game has been a mainstay on my I-devices for a long time. A simple strategy game that doesnt overdo it with graphics or complexity. Great for a quick fix on classic risk-like strategy games.

LUX is the best risk iPhone app

Been playing for years. Started online and then moved to iPhone. Love it!

Fun--but it sometimes cheats!

I really like this game--a lot--and would give it 5 stars if not for the fact that on Reaper AI mode the game will cheat. For example, I was just playing a game against all the different computer opponents, when it was Blacks turn. Black started attacking some spaces in the lower left of the map, then--PRESTO--25 armies magically appeared right next to my territories and started attacking. Black did NOT place armies there before starting its turn. But I dont seem to see stuff like that on Hard AI mode (which is usually what I play on, simply because Reaper AI takes way too long to figure out its moves (and when youre playing against 5 opponents, that extra time gets amplified). But over all, this game is a lot of fun, and I would recommend getting it if you like "Risk"-style games. Oh, and my favorite map so far: Battle of the Baltic Sea (which I had to download), its REALLY fun gameplay!

The Best!

I have spent hundreds of hours playing this game over the last few years. Addicting and a fun time killer. Better than the board game.

Pretty good, and somewhat challenging

Graphics are kind of simple, easy to play and has settings to make the game more difficult. If you like risk, then you well like this version.

Yes

Just yes. Download and play China mini after you get tired of Classic world Lux. Its the next step down the rabbit hole from the best game on iOS.

Great way to waste time

Fun game even after all these years.

NEEDS an UPDATE!!!!!

It is a great game, the closes I have found to risk. All it needs is a multiplayer via bluetooth and wifi so i dont have to pass one device. And to at least make the computers cheat less or not at all. When im battling all reapers within the first 4 turns black goes from 12 armies in south America( that being all they have and other territories) to an extra 35 guys in the top right in Asia( the one connected to Alaska). Not fun to play against cheaters. And most of all an update to fix all of these and after being on the market for a few years i think the price should drop to maybe a dollar. But love the gameplay just most of all i want to connect to my friends device and play via bluetooth. UPDATE the game!!!

AI cheats

Yeah, reaper mode should be called unfair mode because, rather than making the AI better it cheats to increase difficulty.

Use to be better

Alot of maps zoom in too much and wont let you see the whole map. Good game though. I love it

Fantastic

Lots of free maps to download.

Great risk game!

Couldnt be better.

I play it all the time

This is a great Risk clone, best Ive found on the App Store. I wish it was updated more often, and had online turn by turn playing. Its also a little unstable and drains the battery badly, thus it doesnt get five stars.

Great game!

I love this game!

Not one complaint.

Not one. A great game. I dont know if there is an actual Risk app, but if there is it would be a lot like this, but Lux would probably be better. This game is the reason I dont need solitaire on my phone.

Beware what you wish for!

So I used to try to get people together to play risk in a board game. Very rare was that to happen. If you would have told me that I would have access to play an average of 2 games in less than an hour whenever I wanted to; I would not have believed it. Many different ways of limiting troop allotments, etc. My favorite is limiting the matching cards to only 5 armies each time and me against 1 "hard AI" who plays straight up fair and all of the other colors are "Reapers" who hardly ever go after each other but go exclusively after the human and the hard AI.
